Election Aftermath

Here's the thing, regardless of who becomes president (which at this point looks to be Obama) and regardless of which legislation passes or is not passed, let us not forget that we can not rely on politicians and legislation to change the world or even our country. They can certainly make things easier or harder. However, the responsibility lays with us, especially the Church. We can change communities, we can spread the love of Christ, and we can bring a little bit of the kingdom of heaven here on earth through the relationships and interactions we share each day; through creating a culture of love that emulates God's mercy and grace for all.
